ClarityScanner searches public records, published web pages and licensed directories, then summarises what it finds. A report is a research aid, not a dossier or a background check.
Our reports may not be used to intimidate, follow, expose or otherwise interfere with anyone, and we may close any account used that way.
There are things we deliberately do not do. We do not identify people biometrically, verify anyone's identity, monitor devices, track live location, or reach into private accounts, messages, or anything else that is not already public.
Public data is uneven — records go stale, sources disagree, and coverage varies by country and by lookup — so treat what you read as a lead to confirm, not a settled fact. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and our reports may not inform decisions about anyone's employment, housing, credit, insurance, or eligibility for a service.
For visitors in the UK and EEA: we act as controller for the public data we process and rely on legitimate interests. You may ask to see that data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its use, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. The opt-out route is set out in our Terms & Conditions, and you can complain to your national data protection authority.
