Sources of Information

  • Direct client registration.
  • Real-time public websites and databases using OSINT techniques.
  • Real-time HLR Lookups for mobile phone queries.

4. Use of Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process account information based on consent.
  • Perform search engine services per customer request.
  • Provide comprehensive search services based on legitimate interest.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Account Information: we retain account information for as long as your account is active and as needed thereafter for legitimate business purposes and legal compliance.

Cached Reports: Cached Reports are retained for no longer than 120 days (as shown in the product interface) and are then automatically deleted from our active systems within a commercially reasonable timeframe, subject to limited exceptions for security, fraud prevention, backups, and legal compliance.

User controls: you may delete cached reports earlier through your account.

Access controls: Cached Reports are accessible only to the account that generated them and are not shared with other users unless and until we introduce an explicit “share” feature.

Security logs: limited retention for operational security purposes.

6. Removal of Publicly Available Information

Users seeking removal of publicly available information should:

  • Contact us via the Help Centre.
  • Receive identification of information sources.
  • Contact the original sources directly for removal.
  • Inform ClarityScanner when removal is complete.
  • ClarityScanner will then prevent the information from appearing in future search results.

7. Data Minimization

We only collect and process data that is necessary for providing our service. This includes your name, surname, email, and payment details, which are stored securely in a PCI-DSS compliant vault.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

EU/UK users have the right to:

  • Access personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate personal data.
  • Erase personal data.
  • Restrict processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Object to processing.
  • Rights related to automated decision-making and profiling.
